PASTOR MOLESTS THREE BOYS AGED 4 TO 7

Tyler TX
Jefferson Marian Moore Jr., 58, a pastor of the Dogwood City Chapel, and the owner of a Dogwood City day care facility, went to trial last week on three first-degree felongy counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Two boys, aged 6 and 7, complained that "Brother Jeff" made them lie with him during naptime, and were then molested. Another boy was four years old at the time of the abuse.

The judge has allowed Moore to continue as pastor as long as he avoids unsupervized contact with children.

Wife Pulls Gun on Pastor in Church

A preacher's wife was arrested after police say she pulled a gun on her husband because she allegedly was upset over text messages he had sent to a member of a church youth group.

Tammy Estes surrendered to law officers at the Pentecostal Church of God in Newport after a brief standoff at the church Sunday evening. No one was injured.

She was taken to the Jackson County Detention Center. She was expected to be arraigned Monday.

Police say a church service had just begun when Estes pulled a gun on her husband, preacher Larry Estes, about 7 p.m. According to congregation members, she was upset over messages Larry Estes allegedly exchanged with a youth group member and she demanded he admit infidelity.

Most church members left the building, but several stayed behind to try to convince Tammy Estes to surrender. Police arrived, and other members of the congregation left the church.

About 9 p.m., Tammy Estes' parents went into the church. About 10 minutes later, she surrendered to police.

Larry Estes was hired as the church's minister more than a year ago. He also is the owner of DaBoyz Plumbing.

Mel Gibson shows his true colors .....

"Mel Gibson's apology is unremorseful and insufficient," said Abraham H. Foxman, the national director of the Anti-Defamation League, who added: "His tirade finally reveals his true self and shows that his protestations during the debate over his film 'The Passion of the Christ,' that he is such a tolerant, loving person, were a sham."

Mel is a Jew hater bigot, we all know that for sure now.

Minister's rape trial to begin.

Accusations

Lawsuits filed by the three women describe a man very different from the one who preached that husbands and fathers must lead their families in a time of "acute moral and spiritual crisis."

The first of Mr. Hornbuckle's accusers said he asked her to meet him in a Grand Prairie motel parking lot in July 2003 so he could give her a gift, according to her lawsuit. She claimed that Mr. Hornbuckle exposed himself and then pinned her down in a truck and raped her.

In July 2004, another woman said Mr. Hornbuckle wanted to speak to her privately about rumors that she was a lesbian – something that he considered "contrary to Church teaching," according to her lawsuit.

She said Mr. Hornbuckle took her to an apartment and gave her a drink that knocked her out. She said in the court filings that she vaguely remembered Mr. Hornbuckle being on top of her.

Her lawsuit stated Mr. Hornbuckle sexually assaulted her again a week later when she was babysitting at her uncle's house.

The third woman said in court filings that Mr. Hornbuckle served her a spiked drink while they were at a Euless apartment later that month. She said she awoke naked. She tried to get dressed, but Mr. Hornbuckle sexually assaulted her while she was still too "woozy" to resist, according to the lawsuit.

G. Lee Finley, the attorney representing the women in the civil case, said previously that drug test results would show that one of his clients was drugged.

Those lawsuits, which also name eight church leaders as defendants, have been consolidated into a single case that is pending.

Mr. Hornbuckle has been in the Tarrant County Jail since March without bail. He has been arrested three times since last year for violating the terms of his release. He tested positive for drugs and did not submit a required urine sample for drug testing. Most recently, he failed to check in with the county to get fitted with an electronic monitor and was arrested two hours after his release.

Mr. Richardson said Mr. Hornbuckle is suspended without pay.

Ex-pastor among top Lee fugitives

Longtime east Fort Myers church man accused of molesting boys

By Grant Boxleitner

A former Fort Myers pastor stands accused of molesting at least three young boys at his home and church office, court records show.

Russell Lee Brown, 53, of 2 Kingsman Circle — the long-time pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in east Fort Myers — is one of the top-sought fugitives in Lee County, according to Trish Routte, coordinator of Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.

Recent information from investigators suggest Brown may be in Kentucky or Atlanta. He's facing some very serious charges, and he's had ample opportunity to turn himself in, Routte said.
Fort Myers police secured an arrest warrant earlier this month on child molestation charges against Brown, who had not been arrested as of late Friday, police officials said.

Investigators have a taped statement from Brown on July 5 in which the former pastor indicated remorse for what he did, Routte said. Alleged victims were between ages 6 and 11, Routte said. One of the victims indicated the abuse dated back six or seven years.
A woman who said her two young nephews told her they had been sexually abused by Brown prompted the criminal investigation, according to court records. Routte said there is a third victim who also has come forward. Fort Myers police began looking into the allegations against the pastor June 23.

The Department of Children & Families also investigated the claims by the families, court records show.
Brown had been the pastor at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 163 Catalina St. in east Fort Myers, for 20 years. He resigned May 26 under the scrutiny of the allegations of sexual abuse prompted by several church members, wife Mary Washington Brown told investigators.

An answering machine message from the church Friday still identifies Brown as the senior pastor. A request to call The News-Press was not returned Friday.
Two of the victims told authorities the inappropriate behavior by Brown took place on more than 10 occasions.

When Brown learned the woman planned to report the alleged sexual molestation, he fell to his knees and asked for forgiveness, court records show.
"He's a respected man in this community, and he is someone these children trusted," Routte said. "He was in the position of authority. That's a scary thing for a parent."

Does God have a Penis?

Christians, Muslim, Jews all refer to God as a male, what does that mean? If you are a human male, or an insect, or a fish, or whatever, being a male means you have a penis of some sort. So does God have a penis?

If God does have a penis, what the hell is it for? Procreation? Is there also a goddess? Does He use it to urinate? Does He have an ass for excrement?

This is one of the things that make Xtianity a joke for me. Let’s face it a lot of guys got together and said God must be like me......... and so he is male..... Except they forgot that being male involves having a penis.

Jesus had a penis, if He existed at all. Think about it for a second..... Jesus pissed on the side of the road. He shit in the woods..... This is a God? ridiculous.

Xtianity fails on this point alone. If God has a penis and an asshole what does he eat or drink? Religion is so silly. Logic just tears it apart.

Pastor waives exam on drug, gun charges

FLINT
THE FLINT JOURNAL FIRST EDITION
Thursday, July 27, 2006
By Paul Janczewski

The pastor of Foss Avenue Baptist Church on Tuesday waived his preliminary examination on drug and weapons charges and is expected to plead guilty to reduced charges.

The Rev. Derrick A. Aldridge, 51, of Flint faces an Aug. 7 circuit court arraignment before Genesee Circuit Judge Judith A. Fullerton.

Aldridge waived his preliminary examination on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, a 5-year felony, and possession of less than 25 grams of a controlled substance, a 4-year felony.

Attorney Michael P. Manley, who represents Aldridge, told Flint District Judge Herman Marable Jr. that Aldridge will plead guilty to improper possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, a 90-day misdemeanor, and possession of cocaine.

Manley said he would ask Fullerton for a sentence agreement and a designation that would allow the conviction to be erased if Aldridge successfully completes the sentence requirements.

Aldridge was arrested Jan. 13 in Flint after police allegedly found him sitting in his car with crack cocaine, powder cocaine and a .38-caliber revolver. Aldridge said he is still in substance abuse treatment.

Aldridge took over the 1,200-member Foss Avenue church from his father, the Rev. Avery Aldridge, in February 2002.

The case is being handled by the Lapeer County prosecutor's office at the request of Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton.

Leyton represented Aldridge in a 1995 embezzlement case and said he wanted to avoid any appearance of impropriety.

In that case, Aldridge pleaded no contest to attempted embezzlement for taking more than $11,000 from the then-Flint City Market, which he managed. After paying restitution and successfully completing terms of probation, Aldridge pleaded guilty to willful neglect of duty by a public official and received a suspended sentence, according to court records.

That charge also stemmed from his substance abuse problem, police and prosecutors said.

CLINTON, IA - A former youth minister and reserve police officer has been sentenced to up to 10 years in prison on a sexual abuse charge.

Theodore Lee Hacker, 30, of DeWitt, pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of third-degree sexual abuse and agreed to immediate sentencing. Police said he engaged in a sex act with a 14- or 15-year-old girl on or about March 1 and continuing through April 7.

Hacker was arrested April 12 by officers from the DeWitt Police Department. He had served as a reserve captain for the department, and was dismissed from that volunteer post after his arrest.

Two days before his arrest, he resigned as pastor of student ministries at DeWitt Evangelical Free Church, authorities said.

Hacker was being held at the Clinton County Jail pending a transfer to the Oakdale prison.

Christian Monks Love the Kiddies

By Joshunda Sanders
AMERICAN-STATESMAN STAFF
Wednesday, July 26, 2006

The founder of Christ of the Hills Monastery in Blanco County and three other monks were arrested Tuesday on charges of sexual assault of a child and organized crime, according to the Blanco County sheriff's office.

A fifth monk, imprisoned in Beaumont on a previous sexual assault conviction, also was charged in the case Tuesday.

William Edward Hughes, 55, known as Father Vasilli; Walter Paul Christley, 44, known as Father Pangratios; and Hugh Brian Fallon, 40, known as Father Tihkon; were arrested at the church in the 2400 block of Trainer Wuest Road, police said. They were being held at the Blanco County Jail on Tuesday night. Officials said their bail amounts would be set by a judge Wednesday morning.

Founder Samuel Alexander Greene Jr., 61, was arrested Tuesday afternoon when he returned to the monastery after visiting a nursing home in Austin, Blanco County authorities said. He was charged with sexual assault of a child, organized criminal activity/sexual assault of a child and sexual performance of a child. Officials said Greene was released on bail Tuesday.

Jonathan Irving Hitt, a 45-year-old monk who was charged Tuesday with sexual assault of a child and organized criminal activity, is serving a 10-year sentence for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old novice monk. He was convicted in 1999 on eight counts of indecency with a child. The novice, who was 14 when the accusations were made, said he had been molested by Hitt and Greene.

Greene, who also is known as Father Benedict, pleaded guilty in 2000 to indecency with a child. He was sentenced to 10 years' probation, according to court documents.

Poor George Michael

Most of us knew that George Michael was gay long before he outed himself in a West Hollywood restroom with an undercover cop. Well poor George was caught again by the tacky tabloid "News of the World" in a London park behind some bushes with "a pot-bellied, 58-year-old, jobless van driver". The rag put the pictures on the front page of course.

When will poor George learn? A better question is why does he have to stoop to park sex with his money and fame? Who knows, but I guess the wedding is still on. He just bought his partner a million dollar present.

Pastor takes plea

By Eddie Fitzgerald Daily Times Staff Writer

A former minister charged with 98 counts of incest pleaded no contest Monday in Wilson County Superior Court to eight counts of felonious incest. All other charges were dropped.

Nathaniel Rasberry, 36, of Kenly was sentenced to no less than 121/2 years and a maximum of 15 years in state prisons. Each count carried a sentence of 19 months to 23 months. He was also ordered to pay court costs and his attorney's fees.

Rasberry, a former World Vision Outreach Center pastor, entered court wearing a white shirt and gray pants. He sat quietly and emotionless during the proceedings.

It was agreed through a plea bargain that all other charges against Rasberry would be dropped. Besides the additional charges of incest, he had been charged with communicating threats, assault on a female, two counts of sex offense while in a parental role, nine counts of assault inflicting serious injury and 17 counts of statutory rape.

Bill Wolf, assistant district attorney, said the abuse started when the two victims were about 14 and went on for five or six years before the girls ran away from home.

The Weekend

Sorry I have not posted for a bit, I was in Portland all weekend and just having too much fun to stop and post.

Portland is a city of about 900,000 people and sits on the banks of the north Willamette River. It is a pretty city, clean and without a lot of crime.

We went out to eat at some great places, and just kind of wandered around the city during the day. One of the restaurants we went to was on the 30th floor of the Bankcor building and had great views of the city. The prices there were a little steep for a steak, (about $60) but they did have a big range of other things on the menu. And BOY, did they have cute wait staff. Nothing like seeing a hot 20 something guy in a tux to make my day.

The amazing thing was that the drinks were very reasonable. A grey Goose martini (dirty like I like it) was only 9 bucks.

We then headed to the gay strip club. Oh my, the boys were in rare form and beautiful. The place was packed and well air conditioned. (Thank goddess) the temp outside during the day was 106 degrees. Very VERY hot for Oregon and pretty hot for any place else too, I imagine.

One of the reasons I come to Oregon is to escape the heat. :)

Hope you all had a great weekend.

Pastor arrested on porn charges

Former Peace Lutheran Church Associate Pastor, Gregory Briehl, faced two judges. A General District Court judge set a $2,500 bond for 52-year-old Briehl on two counts of videotaping non-consenting adults and a Juvenile Relations Court judge set the bond at $100,000 for another charge, 20 counts of possession of child pornography.

"I'm in total shock, this is a small neighborhood and all the kids play together," said Ava Kessler.

Kessler is a mother of two who just found out her neighbor, Gregory Briehl is in police custody for possessing child porn on his computer. Prosecutors charged him with 20 counts.

"Definitely 20 charges are a lot of charges for possession of child pornography," said Lt. John Teixeira, of the Albemarle County Police Department.

Albemarle County Police said Briehl also placed video cameras around his home, taping women and possibly children without them even knowing it. Court documents show Briehl's wife found out and tipped off police.

"We went out and obtained several search warrants which we served on both businesses and private residences throughout the county and the city," said Lt. Teixeira.

One of those places was Peace Lutheran Church in Charlottesville where Briehl was a counselor and an associate pastor. Church officials said they had not idea Briehl was involved in this activity at his home and that they are not aware of any similar incidents happening on church property.

But it scares neighbors like Kessler to think there child could be a victim.

"I think this stuff happens all over and you can never be too careful and those are the important things," said Kessler.

Police believe there are more victims that have not been identified on the video tapes. They are asking anyone who may have been a victim to come forward and contact Detective Chuck Marshall at 434-296-5807.

The Bush Deficit

The Bush PR campaign is at it again, they are trying to spin the "good news" that the Administration that inherited record surpluses has turned them into record deficits. And, again, the Bush Administration used misleading and inflated deficit estimates to obscure its horrible fiscal policies. Its original, intentionally gloomy deficit estimate for the 2006 fiscal year was $423 billion. This misleading rhetoric attempts to obscure the fact that the White House's reckless fiscal policies, aided and abetted by the rubber stamp Republican Congress, have produced an economy that is not working for America's working families.

"Here they go again cherry-picking the facts to hide the truth from the American people," said Democratic National Committee Press Secretary Stacie Paxton. "The simple fact is that we simply cannot trust the Bush Administration with our tax dollars, nor can we trust them to tell the truth about how much of it they are spending.

"Only the Bush Administration and the rubber stamp Republican Congress would think that an economy with the fourth largest deficit in history, millions of hard working Americans facing stagnating wages while their costs skyrocket with no relief in sight, is something to celebrate. Then again, the Bush economic boom was not designed to benefit hard working Americans. In keeping with Republican policies, it was designed to help the big corporations, once again putting what's good for them ahead of what's good for the American people. Democrats offer a new direction for America that includes sound fiscal policies and an economy that works America's families."

A God of Love?

BALLWIN, Mo. - Five youngsters, including four siblings, drowned during a church outing after one became caught in a river's undertow and the others jumped in to help, authorities said Monday. A sixth youth was rescued and hospitalized.

The six were part of a group of about 50 youngsters with the St. Louis Dream Center, an interdenominational church that was celebrating a volunteer appreciation day with a barbecue and swimming in Castlewood State Park southwest of St. Louis.

People at the scene said the youths were swept away as they played in the Meramec River on Sunday evening, said Tracy Panus, a spokeswoman for St. Louis County police. They ranged in age from 10 to 17, officials said.

Edris Moore, the mother of the four siblings, said Monday outside her St. Louis home that she was placing her faith in God. The mother of the fifth child declined to comment Monday and retained two attorneys.

Moore has four surviving children, two of whom were at the outing. She said that it "doesn't concern me" precisely what transpired and that the children "went on to be with the Lord."
--------
So four of your kids drown, and it does not bother you? Wow this woman is in total denial. God just killed four of her kids and she does not care? SICK.

About Christians Part 2

I was reading on ex-Christian.net this morning, and there was another Super-Xtian comment. As usual, the neo-con was preaching at us telling us that those of us who have left the faith, never really had a "relationship" with Jesus. In Biblio-nonsense that means that we were never really saved.

I really get tired of these hypocrites coming to atheist or non xtian sites and spouting their silly little ideas. Let's face it there is a church on every other corner in most cities. There are a few "super" churches around that are basically built around a cult of personality. Some pastor who really knows how to manipulate people.

Most churches are small, and their whole purpose in life is to see their tiny congregations grow, although they never do. Why? Because we all know the myth in this country, the myth of the Bible. This really pisses the super-xtian off. That is one reason they have become radicalized. They now want to force their beliefs on the rest of us, especially children.

They don't understand that this country was built on the idea of religious freedom, and the separation of church and state. They wish for a theocracy, and basically have one at the moment with a president that actually believes silly little myths like the Earth is only 10,000 years old. How embarrassing.

All people with an IQ of over 90 really need to become involved and stem this tide pushing the USA toward a religious state like Iran. Time for people with a brain and logical thought processes to become radicalized, and take part in the debate. We cannot any longer sit back and pat these morons on their heads and send them on their way.

Time to take action folks, before it is too late.

Another day in the great Northwest.

One thing about being in Oregon is the great smell of the air. Living in Southern California, you just don't realize how much the air stinks. Another thing I notice is that the water is so cold out of the tap, and tastes really good.

Then there are the temps. Very cool most of the time. On July 4th we needed to have jackets on at about 9pm. Right now as I write this it is 64 degrees outside. We have only had to use the air conditioner once so far this summer.

Oregon is a beautiful state, and very VERY green. In California everything is brown. Then there is the affordable housing. The average priced home in the area we are in is about $350,000. That is for a 3000 sq ft. home on a large lot. Can't beat that.

Oh I don't want to forget NO SALES TAX! That's right, none whatsoever. The price on the shelve or at the car dealership is the price you pay. Way cool.

If you have never been to Oregon or Washington I would encourage you to take a trip here to see the forests, the mountains (and volcanoes) Places like Crater Lake, the deepest and cleanest lake in the nation. And of course the wonderful beaches and lighthouses.

There are a couple of first class cities, Portland and Seattle. Very beautiful, and cosmopolitan. The movie "My Own Private Idaho" was filmed partly in downtown Portland.

So come by and see me sometime this summer.

Another interesting night.

Well, we had a shit load of fireworks, we were blowing them up until midnight. Lots of fun. My nephews, 8 and 11, wanted to light everything, but were a little young for the big stuff which bumbed them out a little bit, but they still had a good time.

The BBQ was awesome, my sister really knows how to put a BBQ together, yum.

Of course, if any of you read me often, you know there had to be some trouble. Just after the BBQ was over I had a HUGE coughing fit and broke a rib. It is now just kinda sticking out a bit and hurts like hell when I cough now. Actually it hurts when I do just about anything, so back to the doctor. I don't think they can do anything for a broken rib, that sucks, more sleepless nights.

Hope you all had fun.
Now the cleanup. :)

Ya know, I am sick of doctors. Lately I have been in alot of pain. Now you tell the doctor you are in pain and they say, "well I'll give you something." That something they give you is bull shit.
